CCB Brasil's internal management is based on the rational use of resources, the promotion of opportunities based on meritocracy and encouraging expansion of various sectors of the economy by establishing effective partnerships and creating value for its shareholders, employees, customers and the community and Brazil.
The strategy for the Bank's sustainable development is guided by the principle of transparency and commitment to its stakeholders and serves as the basis for setting objectives for the coming years: improving social and environmental policies and strategies to deal with Climate Change; structuring and fostering sustainability education, and expanding the Eco-Efficiency Program.
Given these sustainability values, CCB Brasil has been running the Sustainability Committee Comitê Azul ("Blue Committee") since 2006. It is an advisory and educational body set up by the Board of Directors, which aims to encourage the practice and development of sustainability strategies aligned with the Institution’s sustainability objectives.
The Blue Committee drives the strategies for policies, standards, investment, training and sustainability programs, aiming to add value for all the stakeholders.
To seal these practices, which have been perfected over the years, the Movimento Azul brand was created and illustrates how a positive initiative of an individual reflects on CCB Brasil's business, the environment and society, creating a virtuous cycle.
