Future Import Exchange is a currency hedging instrument to protect Brazilian importers obligations. The exchange can be closed with immediate delivery of the equivalent in Brazilian Reais (Cash-based Future Exchange) or without immediate delivery of the Brazilian Reais (Non-cash Future Exchange).
